Tax Exempt Info

Both the World Tang Soo Do Association and the World Tang Soo Do Foundation have received tax-exempt status (qualified under to Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, as amended).

Information about both is available on the IRS website and may be found here.

If you need to note the Federal EIN number for recordkeeping or donation purposes, the numbers you need are:

According to the IRS, there is a limit on individual deductions of charitable contributions.  Both the WTSDA and the WTSDF are considered public charities, therefore, the limit (as per the IRS website) is below:

In general, an individual who itemizes deductions may deduct contributions to most charitable organizations up to 50% of his or her adjusted gross income computed without regard to net operating loss carrybacks. Individuals generally may deduct charitable contributions to other organizations up to 30% of their adjusted gross income (computed without regard to net operating loss carrybacks). These limitations (and organizational status) are indicated as follows:
